By supporting Kim and Miranda’s special journeys, OE contributes to an enduring legacy of excellence and community involvement.

Kim Lumsdon

Kim Lumsdon's story is about athletic prowess, enduring spirit, and the will to push beyond perceived limits. Her remarkable achievements in long-distance swimming, particularly her repeated crossings of Lake Ontario at age 19 and again at age 49, stand as a testament to her father, Cliff Lumsdon’s legacy, and her unyielding determination.

Kim's journey underscores the importance of perseverance, the value of setting ambitious goals, and the power of determination and resilience. As she prepares for her third crossing, at age 67, her story continues to inspire and motivate us all. Her goal serves as a powerful narrative, proving that with dedication and hard work, age does not define capability.

Now, at 38, she embodies perseverance and exceptional determination, stepping into professional competition again to achieve her goals.

Her ambition to challenge herself against the best and her desire to inspire and motivate others reflect the true spirit of athleticism and mentorship. Miranda's story is one of overcoming obstacles, pursuing excellence, and encouraging others to find their path to fulfillment and purpose.
