310T Mechanic

Job Summary:

  • Service and maintain our fleet of heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel and gasoline powered trucks.
  • Repair cable-operated working attachments, winches, compressors, pumps, electric generators, etc.
  • Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Afternoon shift.  Hours:  3:00 to 11:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.  Hourly rate:  $33.00 to $40.00 subject to experience, includes shift premium, plus participation in the company benefit plan.

Job Requirements:

  • 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification
  • Minimum 3 years practical experience with heavy truck and truck-trailer maintenance required. Hydrovac truck knowledge is an asset
  • Valid class “G” driver’s license for the Province of Ontario.  DZ driver’s license preferred
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Safety focused

Work Conditions:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lb, unassisted.
  • Shop environment and on road repairs if needed, which may include construction sites.
  • Safety equipment will be required, e.g. hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed safety boots, etc.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Hazards associated with the trade.

Hydro Vac Drivers/Operators/Helpers

Job summary:

  • Perform hydro-vac excavation at jobsite
  • Various support work connected to hydro-vac excavation:  restoration, backfill, etc.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment

Job Requirements:

  • Previous construction experience preferred
  • Safety focused
  • Team-Player attitude a must
  • DZ license, AZ preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Open availability Monday to Friday, with weekend and after hours (nights) availability as needed.
  • Must be able to work in a confined space; walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  •  Safety equipment will be required such as, but not limited to: hard hat, safety boots, safety glasses, respirators
  • Overtime as required.
  •  Hazards associated with the trade.
  • Work environment:  outdoors, construction sites or similar, public areas, exposure to all seasonal weather, dust, etc.
